I would love to read a study about the fan use of show-specific language. Cause I certainly started using "shiny" and "gorram" in real life after Firefly :D

I know! (I'm going to redouble my efforts to use the word, as I haven't been successful so far.)

I'm sure there are different studies or articles out there. I bought a book for C a few years ago called "Slayer Slang" which was about BTVS, obviously.
