C and I were talking politics last night, and I mentioned several things that she suggested I put here in my journal. So that is exactly what I am going to do. Please excuse the length!

  I found this very interesting, as the Democratic candidate is pointing out the position that C has always felt was prevalent in Texas until the Republicans starting their shift to the fundamentalist right: namely, "live and let live".

  Berkley fights the BSA's discriminatory policies the only way it can, and wins.
• WA-08: Burner vs. Reichert
  More and more races are opening up as the Democratic candidates for the House pull closer to their incumbent Republican opponents. I have seen many analysts with Top 30 Most Endangered lists going to Top 40 and Top 50. Of course, this is increasingly becoming a problem for both parties: where do you spend the money? Still, it is very exciting as very few of the endangered races are incumbent Democrat. This is a link to one of my hopefuls who I would definitely like to see win on Nov. 7th, Darcy Burner.
