What I can't understand is how anyone deluded themselves into thinking he'd make a successful president in the first place. I mean, even though Reagan was an idiot, at least he could act - with Dubya, what you saw was what you got. It just mystifies me how so many people either didn't see it, or didn't care - or, worse, *liked* what they saw. *shudders*

Totally agree. I'm still disheartened by the fact that he won reelection.
