• New Lock Ness Monster Video  Yes, that's right, she's back, bigger and badder than ever!
• LOLCODE  The best programming language ever!
• Music
• Musicians unlock mystery melody in chapel  This has to do with the undeciphered symbolsin the Rosslyn Chapel, featured in The Da Vinci Code.
• Television
• Doctor Who to get axe in 2008  It seems like anything that's likable about this show, even the show itself, is fleeting.  ETA:  As is often the case, the new of its demise is premature.
