Titanic Days - October 5th - 1966 - Aegean Sea - Aegeus

Logic being, Titanic Days was released October 5th 1993, on October 5th 1966 there was a partial core meltdown at the Enrico Fermi demonstration nuclear breeder reactor. Later that same year the Heraklion sunk in the Aegean with the loss of 217, and the Aegean was, in Athenian lore, named for Aegeus.

So a near nuclear catastrophe in metro Detroit and a ferry disaster, maybe not such a good omen...
